The City of Mississauga is celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2004. Mississauga is Canada's sixth largest city with a population of more than 680,000. The Town of New market is a municipality in the heart of Region of York, represented by nine Councillors, including Mayor Tom Taylor and Regional Councillor Tony Van Bynen. Mayor Tom Taylor and Regional Councillor Tony Van Bynen represent the Town of Newmarket on Regional Council.
